Share & IWF Changes In The S&P Japan SmallCap 250, S&P Japan MidCap 100 And S&P Japan 500 Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Japan SmallCap 250, S&P Japan MidCap 100 and S&P Japan 500 indices effective after the close of trading, Tuesday, January 31, 2006:
  • Air Water Inc (Japan, SEDOL: 6441465, GICS: Materials, GICS Code:15101040) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 8,576,125 to 160,277,067 due to the merger and the exercise of convertible bonds and its IWF will be updated to 0.75 due to the merger.
  • Ebara Corp (Japan, SEDOL: 6302700, GICS: Industirals, GICS Code:20106020) a member of the S&P Japan MidCap 100 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 49,578,757 to 422,724,750 due to the exercise of convertible bonds.
  • Heiwa Real Estate Co Ltd (Japan, SEDOL: 6419600, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40401020) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 11,135,481 to 128,941,382 due to the exercise of convertible bonds.
  • Mercian Corp (Japan, SEDOL: 6776004, GICS: Consumer Staples, GICS Code: 30201020) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will decrease by 11,581,000 to 133,689,303 due to the repurchase of shares.
  • Mitsubishi Motors Corp (Japan, SEDOL: 6598446, GICS: Consumer Discretionary, GICS Code: 25102010) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 987,910,315 to 5,403,369,582 due to the conversion of preferred stocks and the execusion of exercise of convertible bonds and its IWF will be updated to 0.449 due to the conversion of preferred stocks.
  • Sanrio Co Ltd (Japan, SEDOL:6776349, GICS: Consumer Discretionary , GICS Code:25201050) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 8,790,729 to 88,148,431 and its IWF will be updated to 0.53 due to the conversion of preferred stocks.
  • Urban Corp (Japan, SEDOL: 6917762, GICS: Financials, GICS Code:40401020) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 2,338,054 to 43,669,497 due to the exercise of convertible bonds.
  • Yamada Denki Co Ltd (Japan, SEDOL: 6985026, GICS: Consumer Discretionary, GICS Code: 25504020) a member of the S&P Japan MidCap 100 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 5,147,907 to 91,888,122 due to the exercise of convertible bonds.
