Share And IWF Change For OMV AG And IWF Change For Tiscali In The S&P European Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Euro indices effective the close of trading Monday, January 03, 2005:
  • OMV AG (Austria, SEDOL: 4651459, GICS: Energy, GICS Code: 10102010), a member of the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Euro indices, shares will increase to 30,000,000 and IWF (Investable Weight Factor) will change from 0.454 to 0.509. This is following the company’s successful completion of a share capital increase. Consequently the company’s major shareholders, OIAG and IPIC now hold 31.5% and 17.6% respectively of OMV AG ordinary shares.
  • Tiscali Spa (Italy, SEDOL: 5953529, GICS: Information Technology, GICS Code: 45101010), a member of the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Euro indices, IWF will increase to 0.661 due to the sale of shares by the Sandoz Family Foundation.
