Shanghai Stock Exchange Studies "Amendment To Criminal Law (VI)

To mark the "12.4" National Legal System Publicity Day, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) recently invited Director Lang Sheng of the Criminal Law Department of the Law Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, to give a lecture on ABCs of "Amendment to the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China (VI)" in Shanghai. The lecture aimed at helping employees engaged in securities and futures to have a deep understanding and a good command of new provisions on financial crimes in the Criminal Law.

The lecture attracted more than 200 representatives from the SSE, the China Securities Regulatory Commission Shanghai Regulatory Bureau?the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the China Financial Futures Exchange, Shanghai Branch of China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited, SSE listed companies, securities companies, fund management companies and custodian banks. Lang detailed to the audience on the background, main content and the significance of the "Amendment to the Criminal Law (VI)”. The lecture, a good tip for the audience on how to further study and implement the New Criminal Law, achieved its desired effect.
