Shanghai Stock Exchange Meets The Press On Listing Arrangements For The First Batch Of Companies Under Shanghai Stock Exchange And Shenzhen Stock Exchange Main Board Registration System

Q: On February 17, 2023, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) issued and implemented institutional rules on the comprehensive registration system reform. The first batch of companies under the main board registration system has obtained registration approval from the CSRC, and the issuance and listing work has been launched. When will the first batch of companies be listed?

A: First, we appreciate the attention and support from all sectors of society for the reform of full implementation of the stock issuance registration system. Under the leadership of the CSRC and with the joint efforts of all parties in the market, the first 10 companies under the main board registration system of the SSE and SZSE have completed their issuance and are eligible for listing.

At present, the various preparations are mostly completed for the stock listing and trading of the first batch of companies under the main board registration system, and the companies are ready for listing. The listing ceremony for the first batch of companies will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023.
