Shanghai Stock Exchange Market Closing Schedule for 2007 National Day

The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) hereby announces the market closing schedule for the National Day of 2007 according to the "SSE Holiday Schedule for 2007" (Shang Zheng Jiao Zi [2006] No. 16).

1. Arrangements of market closing: The National Day is from October 1, (Monday) to October 7, 2007 (Sunday). The Exchange will close for 5 days (excluding two-day weekend) and open for trading on October 8 (Monday).
2. Relevant clearing issues will be carried out according to the arrangements of China Securities Depository and Clearing Corp. Ltd.
3. To ensure the normal trading after the holiday, the SSE will provide linkage testing environment of trading system (including the block trading system and the comprehensive electronic platform of fixed income securities) from 9:30 to 11:30 on October 7, 2007 (Sunday).
