Singapore Exchange (SGX) announced today that SinoPac Futures Corp. has joined its derivatives market as a new Trading Member.
“We are delighted that Taiwan-based SinoPac Futures has chosen to be our Trading Member. With the other Taiwanese brokers that have joined SGX in the last few months, we look forward to greater participation in our MSCI Taiwan and FTSE China A50 contracts,” said Mr Chew Sutat, Head of Sales & Clients at SGX.
Mr Yeh Huang-Chi, Chairman of SinoPac Futures Corp., said: “In order to establish stronger business relationships with more and more global financial enterprises, we are so excited to be one of the members of SGX. With this membership, we are looking forward to expanding our new futures business in the region.”
The addition of SinoPac Futures brings the number of Trading Members in the derivatives market to 39. In addition, there are 26 Clearing Members in its derivatives market, and 11 Clearing Members for the clearing of OTC traded financial derivatives on SGX AsiaClear. The securities market has 28 Trading Members and 28 Clearing Members.
