On 22 August 2012, Singapore Exchange Derivatives Clearing Limited (“SGX-DC”) completed its proceedings with MF Global Singapore Pte. Limited (“MFGS”) by filing a report to the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Messrs Chay Fook Yuen, Bob Yap Cheng Ghee and Tay Puay Cheng, in their capacities as the liquidators of MFGS.
The report is rendered pursuant to section 81H of the Securities and Futures Act and states that no sum is payable to or from MFGS. Creditors of MFGS may approach the liquidators of MFGS for more information.
MF Global ceased to be a Member of Singapore Exchange Derivatives Trading Limited, Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited and SGX-DC with effect from 28 February 2012.
