SGX Group unveiled the winners of the SGX Orb Awards 2026 at its annual Media Appreciation Night today, celebrating some of the best in financial journalism and content. This year’s entries explored a broad range of themes ranging from company strategy and investment opportunities to market developments and the forces shaping financial markets.
This year’s Special Category: The Value Equation, invited participants to submit content exploring how companies create and unlock shareholder value – and what makes that value visible to investors. From individual companies and sectors to market reforms and the broader national Value Unlock movement, participants went beyond the numbers to unpack where value lay and what it meant for investors.
Submissions were reviewed by a panel of judges comprising Eleanor Seet, President and Head of Asia ex-Japan at Amova Asset Management; Jane Martinson, Marjorie Deane Professor of Financial Journalism at City, University of London; Olivier Fines, Head of Advocacy and Policy Research, EMEA at CFA Institute; Shane Chesson, Founding Partner of Openspace Capital; and Vis Nayar, Chief Investment Officer at Eastspring Investments.
