Singapore Exchange Limited ("SGX") is pleased to appoint Ms Kelly Long as its new Vice President, Head of Corporate Communications, with effect from 2 February 2007. Ms Long will take over from Mr John Gollifer who will now focus on his role as Head of Investor Relations, as well as leading the industry’s efforts to establish an investor relations association.

Kelly comes with more than 18 years of extensive experience in branding, corporate communications and marketing. Kelly's responsibilities include building the SGX brand and enhancing SGX's corporate position with external and internal stakeholders. She will also spearhead our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives," said Mr Gan Seow Ann, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Markets, SGX.
Ms Long joins SGX from Sun Microsystems where she was the director of marketing for Asia South. She was responsible for the marketing programmes, corporate communications and brand management.
Ms Long’s breadth of experience in branding and corporate communications spans the information technology, telecommunications, hospitality and advertising industries. This includes branding and marketing communications with ST Telemedia and StarHub.
Ms Long holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore.
