SGX Admits SBI E2-Capital Asia Securities As Corporate Trading And Clearing Member

Singapore Exchange Limited ("SGX") yesterday announced that SBI E2-Capital Asia Securities Pte Ltd ("SBI") has been admitted as a Corporate Trading Member of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("SGX-ST") and a Clearing Member of the Central Depository (Pte) Ltd ("CDP") with effect from 18 August 2005.

SBI which has dual headquarters in Hong Kong and Singapore will commence their operations today with a team of Trading Representatives and Research Analysts dedicated to servicing its regional customers.

Mr Gan Seow Ann, Executive Vice President and Head of Markets at SGX said, "SGX welcomes SBI and looks forward to their participation in our marketplace. This is another positive step towards widening our distribution capabilities."
