SETTRADE Presents ‘Settrade Broker Award 2004’

SETTRADE.Com Co., Ltd. will honor its outstanding allied brokers with the ‘Settrade Broker Award 2004’. Eight brokers will be awarded in 5 categories. TISCO Securities will receive the award for being the most active broker with the highest market share among the 17 brokers using Settrade’s system.

The CEO of SETTRADE.Com, Mrs. Chanisa Chutipat, disclosed that: “SETTRADE will be granting awards to eight brokerage firms which use SETTRADE’s system. This is aimed at showing support to SETTRADE’s allied brokers; promoting securities trading through the Internet, as well as improving the relations within the SETTRADE broker network.

From the trading statistics of the 17 brokers trading through SETTRADE’s system during October 1 – November 30, 2004, SETTRADE is pleased to grant awards in 5 categories to:

  1. Top brokers with largest market share, or having the highest percentage of trading when compared to the total turnover on SETTRADE’s system, are TISCO Securities and Ayudhya Securities Pcl. respectively.
  2. Top brokers with highest growth from Q3/2004 average are Kiatnakin Securities, KGI Securities (Thailand) Pcl. and Trinity Securities.
  3. Top broker with highest number of active trading accounts is Globex Securities
  4. Top broker with highest growth of active accounts compared with Q3/2004 average is National Securities Pcl.
  5. The broker having been very supportive to the development of innovative services is DBS Vickers Securities (Thailand)
The ‘Settrade Broker Award 2004’ is part of SETTRADE’s promotion of Internet trading. Presently there are 17 securities firms providing Internet trading services using SETTRADE’s system. They are Ayudhya Securities, DBS Vickers Securities (Thailand), Globex Securities, SICCO Securities, TISCO Securities, BT Securities, United Securities, KGI Securities (Thailand), Kiatnakin Securities, Trinity Securities, National Securities, BFIT Securities, Capital Nomura Securities, UOB Kay Hian Securities (Thailand), Intel Vision Securities, Adkinson Securities, and SCIB Securities,” Mrs. Chanisa said.
