The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), in collaboration with Money & Banking magazine, will organize the SET Awards 2026 event with the key objective to honor distinguished organizations and visionary leaders recognized as role models in balancing business operations with sustainability initiatives. This year, 16 top executives have been selected to enter the CEO Awards category, while 90 companies are eligible to enter the Business Excellence Awards category, and 14 listed companies to enter the Sustainability Excellence Awards category under the Supply Chain Management Awards type. Moreover, Sustainability Recognitions will also be granted to 15 listed companies. The results will be announced, and the awards will be presented on October 29.
SET President Asadej Kongsiri said that SET Awards event is a vital mechanism to recognize outstanding organizations and individuals in the capital market, acknowledging excellence in business performance, innovation, and sustainability. Inspiration and role models for quality business operations and long-term value creation are essential. Interestingly, the awards cover a wide range of entities, consisting of listed companies, securities companies, asset management companies, financial advisory firms, and real estate investment trusts or REITs, as well as top executives of listed companies inclusively. Notably, this year also features the presentation of ‘Sustainability Recognitions’ to mark the special 10th Anniversary of the Sustainability Awards. The continuous holding of the SET Awards aligns with our vision "The Trusted Gateway to Inclusive Opportunities," with the mission to build a trusted marketplace and to empower market participants in various dimensions.
Money & Banking Magazine Editor-in-Chief, Santi Viriyarangsarit, co-founder of the SET Awards and a member of the expert judging committee, stated that the SET Awards has gained growing interest from listed companies as shown in the enthusiasm for submitting information for consideration across all categories. In particular, the ‘Best Innovative Company Awards’ recorded the highest engagement level since the beginning of the SET Awards, reflecting that the capital market participants place importance on adaptability and innovation to cope with continuous changes and challenges today. I truly believe that the SET Awards will be a significant incentive for driving companies across all sectors to achieve business excellence simultaneously with long-term sustainable development.
The SET Awards are divided into two categories: 1) Business Excellence Awards, to be presented to prominent listed companies, top executives of listed companies, securities firms, asset management companies, financial advisory firms, and real estate investment trusts (REIT); and 2) Sustainability Excellence Awards, to be presented to listed companies committed to sustainable business growth with focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. Notably, there is also the SET Awards of Honor to be presented to listed companies or individuals who have been able to continuously maintain excellence in various areas for three consecutive years or more.
Apart from a line-up of as many as 16 top executives eligible for the CEO Awards, a total of 90 listed companies in the Business Excellence Awards category, and 14 in the Sustainability Excellence Awards category, SET will also recognize exemplary organizations for their distinctive sustainability practices.
