SET Strengthens Leadership Teams: Soravis Krairiksh Named mai, LiVEx President, Three Executives Promoted To SEVP, Effective January 1, 2027

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has appointed Soravis Krairiksh, SEVP and Chief Markets Officer (CMO), as President of the Market for Alternative Investment (mai) and of LiVE Exchange (LiVEx), a role he will hold alongside his current position. The Board also promoted three Executive Vice Presidents (EVP) to SEVP: Duangrat Samudavanija, Triwit Wangvorawudhi and Nattapol Suwansiri. All appointments take effect on January 1, 2027.

SET President Asadej Kongsiri said the new leadership line-up will help SET keep pace with a rapidly changing business and prepare to deliver its 2027 strategy. "All four executives have deep expertise and experience in the capital market, and play key roles across our core functions: demand, supply and market supervision. I am confident they will drive the growth of the Thai capital market in both scale and quality, and make SET a trusted pathway to opportunities for everyone, in line with our vision, 'The Trusted Gateway to Inclusive Opportunities'," he said.

He added that the appointments are part of SET's succession plan, to ensure a smooth transition as senior executives retire in 2026 and to keep the SET Group's strategy on track.

Profiles of the appointed executives:

Soravis Krairiksh, Senior Executive Vice President – Chief Markets Officer (CMO), will also serve as President of mai and LiVEx, bringing SET, mai and LiVEx closer together. He has more than 30 years of experience in finance and capital markets. Since joining SET on August 1, 2025, he has led the Markets Division across both the supply and demand sides of the capital market, covering issuers, product development and investor base expansion, and has delivered on its targets. Soravis holds a bachelor's degree in economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a master's degree in finance from London Business School, both in the United Kingdom.

Duangrat Samudavanija becomes Senior Executive Vice President – Chief Supervision Officer (CSO). She joined SET in 1995 and has played a key role in developing supervision policies and making the supervision of listed companies more efficient and aligned with international standards, including using technology and AI to develop SET's Risk-Based Supervision system. She holds a bachelor's degree in quantitative management from Chulalongkorn Business School and a master's degree in business administration from James Cook University of North Queensland, Australia.

Triwit Wangvorawudhi becomes Senior Executive Vice President – Deputy CMO (Market), and also serves as Managing Director of Thailand Futures Exchange PCL (TFEX). He joined SET in 2020 and has played a key role in bringing new products to market, including Leveraged & Inverse (L&I) ETFs, Mini Gold Futures, Crypto ETFs and Crypto Futures, as well as the Bond Connect project, which enables government bonds to be traded in both the primary and secondary markets on SET’s platform. He previously served as Managing Director of Settrade.com Co., Ltd. (Settrade) and Digital Asset Platform Co., Ltd. (DAP), which provide technology infrastructure for the capital market. Triwit holds a bachelor's degree in international business and economics from Sophia University, Japan, and a master's degree in management from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.

Nattapol Suwansiri becomes Senior Executive Vice President – Deputy CMO (Issuer & Listing). He joined SET in 2019 and has led key projects for issuers, including JUMP+, BOI to IPO and LiVE Exchange, as well as the development of digital platforms and services for listed companies. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Thammasat University and a master's degree in European business from EDHEC Business School, France.
