As part of its regulatory framework enhancement, The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) is reviewing the board lot adjustment and the ceiling and floor price adjustment for new listings to align trading rules with current market conditions, investor behaviors, and practices adopted by international stock exchanges as well as to improve accessibility to investment among investors. Therefore, SET is conducting a market consultation on “Regulatory Enhancements for Securities Trading on the SET and mai” to invite public feedback on the following proposed amendments:
- Board lot adjustment: In response to the trading behaviors of retail investors in general whose ticket sizes average below THB 5,000, the following adjustments are proposed to offer broader investment opportunities across diverse price levels.

- Ceiling and floor limit adjustment for new listings on first trading day: This is to mitigate the downward price volatility on the trading debut day and the risk exposure of investors in line with the practices of international stock exchanges which generally apply narrower floor limits for the first trading day.
