SET Senior Executive Vice President Soraphol Tulayasathien announced the launch of the ESG Super Seed program initiated by The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), underscoring SET’s commitment to fostering business sectors’ integration of the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices into their operational frameworks. The 2025 debut of the ESG Super Seed program offers university students the opportunity to enhance their comprehensive knowledge of sustainability, both in theory and practice. This strategic initiative also creates a foundation for identifying and cultivating future ESG professionals who will drive meaningful sustainable transformation across Thailand's business landscape and broader society.
“The demand for ESG skill and knowledge has become a key qualifications of today's labor market, with organizations across business, government, and social sectors actively seeking professionals with robust ESG capabilities both domestically and internationally. To address this need, SET has initiated this program to cultivate ESG competencies among university students, preparing them for future careers in Thailand's capital market ecosystem. ESG Super Seed program participants will engage in five specialized e-Learning courses totaling 12 hours: 1) Fundamentals of Sustainability, 2) Certificate in ESG Management Program, 3) ESG Risk Management, 4) ESG: New Ways of Sustainable Investment, and 5) Introduction to ESG Investment Products. The coursework will be followed by a competitive selection process to identify outstanding candidates for the exclusive 7-day ESG Super Seed Camp, featuring hands-on workshops, site visits, soft skill development sessions, and valuable opportunities to engage with sustainability leaders from Thailand's top organizations. The program culminates in a competitive presentation of sustainability case studies, with awards totaling THB 100,000. SET will cover all program expenses for participants.
The ESG Super Seed program is now accepting applications from undergraduate students at all academic levels and recent graduates under 25 years of age.
