  • SET continues its INVESTORY Investment Learning Design Bootcamp,” empowering secondary school teachers to design active learning models for financial and investment education.
  • Throughout three years of implementation, this initiative has developed 155 teachers as learning facilitators in 35 provinces, delivering investment knowledge to 24,804 students.

SET Senior Executive Vice President Soraphol Tulayasathien highlighted that the “INVESTORY Investment Learning Design Bootcamp” has been delivered for three consecutive years to provide secondary school teachers with investment knowledge and learning design skills so that the teachers can develop creative and active approaches for secondary school learners. Through this program, SET seeks to integrate these investment learning models into the nation education core curriculum to benefit secondary schools nationwide. The program's reach has been substantial, successfully trained 155 teachers as learning facilitators in 35 provinces and delivering investment knowledge to 24,804 students.

The INVESTORY Investment Learning Design Bootcamp aims to support secondary school educators who assume critical roles in developing students' financial and investment literacy. As the secondary students show that they are interested in knowing how to invest, it is critical to establish strong educational foundations during this stage. The program provides participating teachers with comprehensive coaching, specialized tools, and supporting materials, enabling them to function as learning facilitators and design student-centered learning processes. Currently, 30 models of investment classrooms are featured on SET's INVESTORY website, providing reference frameworks for educators nationwide who are interested in applying these pedagogical models to their specific classroom contexts. This initiative resonates with the "Make it 'Work' for Every Future" concept and strategy commemorating SET’s 50th anniversary.

As part of the INVESTORY Investment Learning Design Bootcamp, this year's “Show & Share” event provided a platform for the bootcamp’s educators to showcase their work and share their insights. A total of 11 model investment classrooms were presented, allowing participants to demonstrate learning activities and processes that they had developed and successfully implemented in actual classroom settings to fellow educators and the broader public. In addition, learning facilitators from two schools shared their experiences and inspirational approaches.

Teacher at Ratwinit Bangkaeo School in Samutprakarn who shared the story of “Too Tough for Students” or “Already Too Late for Teachers” Prasai Jhetson recited: “We cannot assume that investment topics are too complex for young minds. Today's students are already exploring investment concepts through online resources independently. However, this self-directed learning does not guarantee that they acquire accurate knowledge. This is where educators play a crucial role in bridging the knowledge gap and guiding students toward right understanding. The program presents an exceptional opportunity for both students and teachers to develop their investment literacy together.”

Teacher at Matthayom Wat Khao Sukim School in Chantaburi who shared the story of “From a Small Classroom to a Wide World of Investment” Tanachai Lekwattana stated: “Investment education can be integrated across all academic subjects. Even at small schools, teachers can guide students through the investment landscape. In my experience as a multi-subject teacher, I have incorporated investment concepts into diverse disciplines, including even subjects like History and Mathematics, and found that investment topics could be taught in a fun and engaging way.
