SET Clarifies Rumors On Penalty Against Members

According to the news saying that the SET would charge penalty against members who have breached SET's rules on minimum brokerage fee, The SET President, Mr. Kittiratt Na-Ranong, clarified that member audit regarding the brokerage fee is included in the SET's normal operation process.

If it is found that a member has infringed the above mentioned rule, the SET will proceed accordingly to an investigation process of the "Committee for Offenses and Punishment in the Charging of Brokerage or Agent's Fees" expecting to be held within the next two weeks. And, the SET will publicly announce the Committee's resolution when there is any conclusion reached.
