SET Approved Trinity Securities As Licensed Broker Starting March 11

The President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), Mr.Kittiratt Na-Ranong, disclosed that, according to the SET Board resolution in January 2002 that allow non-member companies of the SET or the sub-brokers to apply for the membership from February 1st - March 31st, 2002, Trinity Security Co.,Ltd. has submitted its application on February 25th. The company met the qualifications to become a member of the SET and will become a SET member No. 22, using an abbreviation TRINITY, from Monday March 11 onwards.

"This new member will make the number SET member companies to become 27 companies in total. More numbers of brokers will provide more choices for investors." Mr.Kittiratt said.

Trinity Securities Co.Ltd. was founded in 1999 and obtained securities brokerage license from the Ministry of Finance including securities dealing license, investment advisory service license, and securities underwriting license. It started operation in March 2001 by having Trinity Wattana Co.,Ltd. as its major shareholder holding 99.99% stake. It has 410 million baht paid-up capital. The company has Mr. Pakhawat Kovithvathanaphong act as the company's Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Kampanart Lohacharoenvanich act as its President.

In addition, the company is well equipped with many qualified personnel. It houses two securities analysts with a Bachelor's Degree, 65 certified equity marketing representatives who have already registered with the SEC, 30 authorized officers who have already registered with the SET. The company concentrates on providing services to retail investors both inside and outside Bangkok. It presently has four branches upcountry; two in Songkhla, one in Chiang Mai, and one in Pattani.
