The U.S. blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 2.71% in September, closing at 11,689.24. Stock market indexes in Europe rose, while indexes in Asia fell, and globally indexes were up in SEPTEMBER, according to preliminary monthly figures from global index providers, Dow Jones Indexes and STOXX Ltd.
