Semi-Annual Changes To The NASDAQ Technology Dividend Index

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced the results of the semi-annual evaluation of the NASDAQ Technology Dividend Index (Nasdaq:NQ96DIVUS), which will become effective prior to market open on September 22, 2014.

The following fourteen securities will be added to the Index: ARM Holdings plc (Nasdaq:ARMH), China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited (NYSE:CHU), Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL), Epiq Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:EPIQ), Linear Technology Corporation (Nasdaq:LLTC), Micrel, Incorporated (Nasdaq:MCRL), Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK), NetEase, Inc. (Nasdaq:NTES), Orange (NYSE:ORAN), SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (NYSE:SKM), Seagate Technology Public Limited Company (Nasdaq:STX), Telefónica, S.A. (NYSE:TEF), Telecom Argentina S.A. (NYSE:TEO), and West Corporation (Nasdaq:WSTC).

The Index includes up to 100 Technology and Telecommunications companies that pay a regular or common dividend. The NASDAQ Technology Dividend Index is evaluated on a semi-annual basis. As a result of the evaluation, the following seven securities will be removed from the Index: BCE Inc. (NYSE:BCE), China Mobile Limited (NYSE:CHL), STMicroelectronics N.V. (NYSE:STM), PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (NYSE:TLK), Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. (NYSE:TSM), VimpelCom Ltd. (Nasdaq:VIP), and Vodafone Group Plc (Nasdaq:VOD).
