The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced the results of the semi-annual evaluation of the NASDAQ OMX ABA Community Bank Index (Nasdaq:ABQI), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, December 23, 2013.
The following 29 securities will be added to the Index: Banc of California, Inc. (Nasdaq:BANC), Bridge Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:BDGE), The Bank of Kentucky Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:BKYF), Bank of Marin Bancorp (Nasdaq:BMRC), Camden National Corporation (Nasdaq:CAC), Meta Financial Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:CASH), CenterState Banks, Inc. (Nasdaq:CSFL), Customers Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:CUBI), Enterprise Financial Services Corp (Nasdaq:EFSC), Financial Institutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:FISI), German American Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:GABC), Horizon Bancorp (Nasdaq:HBNC), Heritage Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:HFWA), Independent Bank Corporation (Nasdaq:IBCP), Independent Bank Group, Inc. The Index is intended to serve as a benchmark for investment products by including the larger and more liquid community banks. As a result of the evaluation, the following three securities will be removed from the Index: Sterling Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:STSA), Taylor Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:TAYC) and United Financial Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:UBNK).
