Sell-Off In U.S. Stocks Accelerates - Erases 2018 Gains for S&P And Dow Indexes

U.S. stocks tumbled again on Wednesday, wiping out gains for the year in both the S&P 500 Index and the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 608.15 points (2.41 percent) to 24,583.28, the S&P 500 lost 84.53 points (3.08 percent) to 2,656.16 and the Nasdaq Composite fell 329.14 points (4.43 percent) to 7,108.40.
