The European Commission has relaunched the procedure for selecting the next Director of ACER, the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators, as the procedure for the selection of a new Director, launched on 30 August 2017, did not result in any appointment.
On 6 September 2018, the Agency’s Administrative Board appointed ACER Director Mr Pototschnig as Director ad interim, until a new Director is appointed.
The vacancy notice, describing the position, listing the requirements of the post and providing guidance on how to apply, is published on the Official Journal of the European Union (C 372 A) of 15 October 2018 and can also be accessed through the Agency’s website here. The deadline for submitting an application is 26 November 2018.
