Seed Alpha - the new technology company that revolutionises the way institutional investors use and manage research – today announced the appointment of Peter Allen as Chairman.
Mr Allen, who is also Chairman of The European Association of Independent Research Providers (Euro IRP), is a veteran of the independent research industry. He led Lombard Street Research for a decade and has been instrumental in promoting the sector through his Chairmanship of Euro IRP.
Mr Allen most recently led the Euro IRP team responsible for coordinating relations with regulators and the European Commission in the protracted discussions over the future of research payments under MiFID II.

Seed Alpha was launched last month and has been well received by the investment community. The service is now in use at a number of buy-side firms including Ballingal Investment Advisers.
