Said John Giesea, STA President and CEO: “Our Officers and Board of Governors are comprised of industry leaders who are deeply knowledgeable regarding the interconnections of issues in equity market structure, technology, regulation, and competition. We will use their collective expertise to represent what is best for markets, our industry, investors, and issuers to all our constituencies: members, legislators, regulators, the media and the public.

As we emerge from the global financial crisis, our expertise will continue to provide valuable insight and guidance. We look forward to our leadership continuing to work in concert with others - as we have for our 75 year history.”
