The CSE has requested all listed companies to forward a statement by Tuesday, 4th January 2005 indicating their preliminary assessment of damages (if any) caused to business and how long it would take to resume normal business operations.
Trading activities would continue. Investors are advised to exercise due caution in making investment decisions in light of the above situation.
On a request made by Member Firms it has been decided to close the market at 12.00 noon on 29th December 2004 and at 12.30 p.m. on 30th and 31st December 2004.
