Tehran Securities Exchange (TSE) takes a major step in project financing: Arghavan Gostar Ilam Petrochemical Co. were underwritten in TSE’s Professional Investment Market on 1st October, 2025.
The Arghavan Gostar Ilam Petrochemical Company’s preemptive rights waiver were underwritten under the ticker “SHLX1” in TSE today, 1st October 2025. As the second project-based company listed on Tehran Securities Exchange’s professional market, the petrochemical company successfully financed IRR 2 trillion.
The underwriting was conducted through the share premium method involving the waiver of preemptive rights by the company’s existing shareholder, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company. Both individual and institutional investors were eligible to participate in the underwriting, with the only requirement being the signing and acknowledgment of the risk disclosure statement.
This milestone represents a significant step toward developing innovative financing instruments and enhancing the capital market’s role in supporting Iran’s industrial projects.
