Dr. Seppi received his Ph. D. in 1988 from the University of Chicago in Finance. His areas of expertise include the microeconomics of trading and liquidity, option pricing, and applied game theory. His recent work has focused on modeling limit order markets. While at the Commission, Dr. Seppi will join other researchers on projects concerning corporate governance, institutional voting and the implications of predictable trading strategies such as VWAP for liquidity, as well as other areas as dictated by SEC priorities.
