Save The Dates: ACER To Launch A Public Consultation (15 April) On Reasoned Amendments To The CACM Regulation, With 2 Public Workshops (10 May)

Date 06/04/2021

Public consultation: 15 April – 10 June

The EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) will launch (15 April) a public consultation on proposed amendments to the Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM) Regulation. The public consultation period is from 15 April until 10 June. The input received to this consultation will inform the recommendation that ACER will deliver to the European Commission by the end of 2021.

The CACM Regulation provides binding rules for the implementation and operation of EU-wide single market coupling in the day-ahead and intraday timeframes.

ACER workshops: 10 May

On the 10th of May, ACER will organise two public workshops on
(1) European market coupling organisation & operation and
(2) capacity calculation and bidding zone review.

The purpose of these workshops is to introduce the proposed amendments in these areas and thus assist stakeholders providing feedback to the public consultation.
