Saudi Stock Exchange: Converting The Securities Depository Center To A Joint Stock Company

Pursuant to the request of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), the Capital Market Authority has approved the conversion of the Securities Depository Center (the Centre) to a joint stock company fully owned by Tadawul. 

This step comes as one of Tadawul's strategic initiatives to improve post trade infrastructure and align the Saudi capital market with international standards and elevate the effectiveness of registry and depository services provided by the Center. 

Tadawul will be developing a time plan to execute the conversion in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
