Procter & Gamble’s acquisition of Gillette will close tomorrow…Standard & Poor’s will remove G from the S&P 500, S&P Global 100 and S&P 100 Indices after tonight’s close of trading.

Standard & Poor's will increase PG's shares outstanding after the close of trading tonight to account for the 974.106 million shares issued to acquire Gillette Co. (G-also in the S&P 500, S&P Global 100 and S&P 100 Indices)...G shareholders will receive 0.975 PG share for each of their 999.083 million shares...PG now has 2461.254 million shares in the Index.
