S&P Emerging Markets Database Indices Will Use Intra-Day Foreign Exchange Rates For Their Closing Foreign Exchange Rates On December 24th, 2004

The WM Company will not be publishing Closing Spot Foreign Exchange Rates on December 24th, 2004. However, the WM Company will be publishing Intra-Day Spot Foreign Exchange Rates up to 12:00 PM London Time on December 24th, 2004. The WM Company has recommended that the Intra-Day Spot Foreign Exchange Rates as of 12:00 PM London Time be used as the Closing Foreign Exchange Rates for December 24th, 2004. The S&P EMDB Indices Group accepts the WM Company’s recommendation. Therefore, we will use the Intra-Day Spot Foreign Exchange Rates as of 12:00 PM London Time for our Closing Spot Foreign Exchange Rates for December 24th, 2004.
