S&P Emerging Markets Database Index Announcement

S&P/IFCG and S&P/IFCI Price and Total Return Indices for Perú have been revised downwards by 50 and 64 basis points respectively, for June 7, 2004. The revised index levels reflect the corrected price for Buenaventura (EMDB code 293140.3 / SEDOL 2894988) for June 7, 2004. The revised index levels had no effect on the S&P/IFCG and S&P/IFCI Composite or the Latin American indices. The corrected figures appear below:
