S&P Emerging Markets Database Index Announcement: Thailand – Kiatnakin Finance Share Increase (Eff. 06/21/2004)

Effective June 21, 2004, S&P/EMDB will increase the number of shares outstanding for Kiatnakin Finance Public Co., Ltd (EMDB Code 578279.2/SEDOL 6491084), an S&P/IFCG and S&P/IFCI index constituent, by 78.0191 million via a new issue. The share increase resulted from the exercise of the company’s warrants. The IWF of the stock will remain 0.44. If the above share increase had occurred on June 4, 2004, the weight of Kiatnakin Finance in the S&P/IFCI Thailand Index would have increased to 0.88% from 0.73%.
