With reference to our recent announcement (dated 1/7/02) to substitute American Depositary Prices for some Argentine stocks in our investable and global series effective January 14, in order to provide historical information since December 1st, 2001, S&P/EMDB will start calculating two Custom Indices, beginning January 14, 2002:
- S&P/EMDB Investable Composite Index ex-Argentina effective December 1st, 2001
- S&P/EMDB Investable Composite Index with ADR prices for Argentine stocks
The S&P/EMDB Investable Composite Index with ADR prices will be effective December 1st and will be will be available as a custom index till January 11, 2002 after which it will be replaced by our regular investable composite index which will carry the ADR prices going forward.
