- European equities struggled in the face of a global sell-off; the S&P Europe 350® fell to post its worst monthly and quarterly performance since September 2002.
- The pandemic did little to abate an oil price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia, which has driven crude prices down to multi-decade lows and pulled down the energy sector with it.
