S.A.C.I. Falabella de Chile Will Replace Grupo Financiero BBVA Bancomer - Serie B de Mexico In The S&P Latin America 40 Indices

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P Latin America 40 Indices effective after the close of trading on Friday, March 19, 2004:

S.A.C.I. Falabella (Chile, SEDOL 2771672) will replace Grupo Financiero BBVA Bancomer - Serie B (Mexico, SEDOL 2968786) in the S&P Latin America 40 Indices after the close of trading on Friday March 19, 2004. Grupo Financiero BBVA Bancomer - Serie B is being removed from the S&P Latin American Indices due to the Public Tender Offer of its B shares by Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (Spain).

The number of shares for S.A.C.I. Falabella will be 1,970,257,520 and the IWF is expected to be 0.2796.
