SABMiller Shares And IWF Changes In The S&P European Indices

Date 13/10/2005

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, effective after the close of trading on Monday, 17th October 2005:
  • SABMiller (Great Britain, SEDOL: 0483548, GICS: Consumer Staples, GICS Code: 30201010), a member of the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, shares will change to 1,495,959,509, and the Investable Weight Factor will change from 0.762 to 0.5628. This is due to a capital increase related to the acquisition of Bavaria SA, owned by the Santo Domingo Group, and the conversion of the remaining convertible low voting participating shares held by the Altria Group.
