Ryman Healthcare has gained a place in the NZX 10 Index, and New Zealand Oil and Gas is set to join NZX 15 index, following the latest NZX Index review.
Ryman Healthcare will replace Fisher & Paykel Appliances in the NZX 10 Index and New Zealand Oil and Gas will replace Nuplex Industries in the NZX 15 Index.
The NZX Equity Indices are the primary benchmarks for the New Zealand sharemarket, and are widely used by investment professionals and the general public. The NZX 10 Index and the NZX 15 Index comprise the securities of the largest and most liquid companies quoted on the NZSX market.
Index changes announced today are effective from Monday, 5th January 2009, the first trading day of the new year.
