Russian Wimm-Bill-Dann Also At NEWEX

The leading Russian food company Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods OJSC, which today completed its IPO at the New York Stock Exchange, will also be traded from today at NEWEX (New Europe Exchange) (WKN: 534436). The American Depositary Shares (ADS) are being sponsored by Deutsche Bank. Wolfgang Steubing AG acts as Skontroführer. The ADS are soon to be included into Continuous Trading on Xetra.

NEWEX operates the Central and East European segment within the unregulated market at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The NEWEX segment consists of 113 equities. NEWEX instruments are increasingly traded on Xetra as well as on the floor of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. NEWEX is the only market within the eurozone in which CEE equities are traded continuously in euros with Market Makers securing liquidity.

Wimm-Bill-Dann is the first Russian IPO in 1 ½ years. The company had a turnover of 564 million euros for the first nine months 2001 and is market leader in the production of dairy and juice products in Russia. In 2000 Wimm-Bill-Dann's net income was 24 million euros.
