In September 2002 trades on the RTS classic market totaled 299 million US dollars, up 9.3% on August's 273.6 million dollars. Average daily turnover rose 14.8% and reached 14.2 million USD.

The turnover in RTS Bonds, the system that facilitates trading in corporate, municipal and government bonds and Eurobonds, in September totaled 5.6 million dollars, a 21.5% increase over 12.4 million dollars in August.
