On November 6th, 2002, the Federal Commission for the Securities Market of Russia has registered "Uralsvyazinform" new emission report. This emission related to the merger of "Uralsvyazinform" and Ural regional companies has affected the Initial values of the RTS Index, RTS Technical Index and correction factors used in the RTS Composite and S&P/RUX Indices calculation.
Effective November 13th, 2002, the new number of "Uralsvyazinform" common shares outstanding - 32 298 782 020 - will be used in Indices calculation. The old number of shares equaled 8 743 937 729.
The RTS Stock Exchange would like to remind that as a result of the merger the following companies have joined "Uralsvyazinform" (URSI):
- "Chelyabinsksvyazinform" (SVIC);
- "Sverdlov Region Uraltelecom" (URTC);
- "Tumentelecom" (TUTE);
- "Khantymansiiskorktelecom" (HTCM);
- "Kurgan Region Electrosvyaz" (ESKU);
- "Yamalelectrosvyaz" (YAMS).
Upon the completion of the merger the "Uralsvyazinform" authorized capital consists of 32 298 782 020 common and 7 835 941 286 preferred shared with 0,12 rubles nominal value.
