The volume on the RTS order-driven market (GTS) in August reached 24.6 million rubles compared to 36.6 million last month. Daily average turnover equaled 1.12 million rubles.
The turnover in the RTS Bonds, the system that facilitates trading in corporate, government, municipal debts, and Eurobonds, in August reached 4.7 million USD.
Total RTS spot market volume in August totaled 279 million USD, down from 516.8 million in July.
As of closing, August 30th, 2002, the RTS Index equaled 332.90, 2.04% up at the end of July's 326.33.
