Russian Trading System - Bonds Data: 4-15 November 2002

For the week of November 4th-November 15th, 2002, the total volume on the RTS Bonds, the system facilitating trading of corporate, government, municipal debt, and Eurobonds, reached 3 375 thousand US dollars. Eurobond trading volume equaled 1 557 thousand dollars. The number of trades for the first half of November reached 10.

On November 4th, 2002, "PROMIF" bonds IPO took place on the RTS Stock Exchange; 19 900 bonds with 1, 000 rubles nominal value were sold at par.

50% of the "Irkutsk Aviation Industrial Association" bond tranche was placed on the RTS on November 5th. 750 000 bonds with 1,000 ruble nominal value were sold at 99% of par.

The RTS Bonds trading system opened up on June 3, 2002. Currently 167 members of the Partnership, including 14 market makers, trade fixed-income securities on the RTS Stock Exchange. Daily RTS Bonds market information is available on the RTS server on the Internet.
