In October 2009, RTS volumes were up 9.96% over September 2009. Total RTS Exchange and OTC market activity rose to USD48.8 billion during October 2009.
Activity on Futures and Options on RTS (FORTS) during October increased with volumes up 17.64% to 52.8 million contracts compared with levels in September 2009.
International firms were prominent during the month, with Deutsche Securities listed as the largest broker on the RTS Classic market.
