Over the week of November 10th – November 14th, 2008, the RTS Index went down by 15,33% to reach 644,02 points (760,62 points as of November 7th, 2008). Most of the negative impact on the Index dynamics was related to the falling prices for ОАО "LUKOIL" ordinary shares (LKOH) (minus 24,32 points), Gazprom ordinary shares (GAZP) (minus 20,21 points) and OJSC "OC "Rosneft" ordinary shares (ROSN) (minus 14,08 points).
The "second-tier" stock index – RTS-2 shed 9,71% to reach 616,91 points (683,24 points as of November 7th, 2008). Last week almost all the key economy sectors represented on the Russian Stock Market closed in the negative territory. The major loser was the consumer & retail industrials sector, the corresponding index shrank by 18,29%. Significant decline was registered in the metals & mining sector with the corresponding index losing 17,31%. A slight growth was reported only by the power sector. The RTSI – Electric Utilities increased by 0,42%.

The week's top gainers were ordinary shares of Moscow Integrated Electricity Distribution Company (MSRS) – by 33,33% to $0,04 and ordinary shares of JSC "RusHydro" (HYDR) – by 2,33% to $0,022.
The week's top losers were RSC Energia ordinary shares (RKKE), that fell in price by 50,0% to reach $40,0, ordinary shares of OJSC "DIXY GROUP" (DIXY) that closed 41,18% down at $2,1 per share and ordinary shares JSC Acron (AKRN) that posted 35,0% loss at $13,0.
