RTS Stock Exchange Money: March 2005 Market Data

In March 2005 total trading volume on the RTS Money, the FOREX market of the RTS Stock Exchange, equaled 2 099 million US dollars, down from 2 489 million US dollars in February 2004.

RTS Money is a joint project of the RTS Stock Exchange and PRBT (Broker Technology Development Project) company to develop inter-bank currency trading. The system combines the most up-to-date electronic trading technologies, high liquidity provided by market-makers telephone broker support with modern settlement infrastructure provided by the RTS Settlement Chamber. Market participants can trade the most liquid instruments of Russian financial markets. Currently 22 banks, including two foreign banks, trade on the RTS Market.
