From April 2 to April 21st, 2003, the system operated in the test mode; the trial run has allowed the developers to fine-tune the software based on customer feedback. The system is fully ready now; Until September 1st, 2003, users can get free connection and service.
RTS Money is a joint project of the RTS Stock Exchange and PRBT (Broker Technology Development Project) company to develop inter-bank currency trading. The system will combine the most up-to-date electronic trading technologies, high liquidity provided by market-makers telephone broker support with modern settlement infrastructure provided by the RTS Settlement Chamber. RTS Money was developed by "Electronic Trading Agency" (ETA) experts based on DEALSET software and hardware complex.
The participants of the RTS Money market will be able to trade the most liquid Russian currency market instruments; in the nearest future the exchange also plans to offer them trading in swaps.
