The beginning of trading on Russian Trading System prompted the formation of the organized securities market in Russia. Today the exchange is the place where the benchmark of the national financial industry – RTS Index – is being formed.
I congratulate the exchange with its tenth anniversary. I am sure that in the future RTS Stock Exchange will be playing the most important role in the development of Russian securities market.

In ten years of its existence RTS has come a long way from a basically ‘useless' PORTAL trading system to an acknowledged financial services center that unites a whole host of markets that differ in their product offerings and in used trading and settlement systems. This center also has attracted major Russian securities market participants.
Today I would like to congratulate RTS Stock Exchange and wish an even closer unity of all market participants, the increased number of companies-issuers and an expanded product and services line. Only the constant introduction of new products and services will let the exchange show attractive financial results and remain the leading Russian stock exchange.
