RTS Stock Exchange Board: February 2004 Data

For the month of February 2004, total trading volume on the RTS Board increased by 64% and reached 18 million US dollars, up from 11 million dollars in January. The most popular were the Tyumen Oil Company (15% of total trading volume), Uralelectromed (14%), and Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Corporation (13%).

In February 2004 traders' activity increased by 52% and reached 588 transactions. The following companies traded the most actively on the RTS Board in February: "Troika Dialog", "Antanta-Capital", "CenterInvestSecurities", "Brunswick UBS" and "GUTA-INVEST".

The RTS Board is the system of indicative quotation of securities not listed on the RTS Stock Exchange. Access to the system is available to any licensed market participant for a fee.

At the moment 400 investment companies and banks use the RTS Board.
